Matthias von Ankershofen has made a name for himself in the carpentry trade for over more than three decades. In 1990, he began his own business as a master carpenter, driven by his passion for wood, individuality, and perfection. In addition to his work as a vocational school teacher at the Kuchl State Vocational School for Carpentry and Joinery Technology, he founded the 'Manufaktur von Ankershofen' in August 2024 together with his sons Paul and Theophil, as well as a close friend. The manufactory combines tradition with modern ideas. 'Our goal is to create more than just furniture—we want to preserve values and tell stories.'
